Headed to Milan for Design Week? So are we! Read on for some of our favorite places to visit and some of our tips for making the most of your trip to the world's coolest design show.
MILAN DESIGN WEEK
Inspiring and beautiful, Milan Design Week thrills design lovers of all ages. For interior designers like us, it's the place where we can visit the furniture trade show known as Salone del Mobile and also visit installations and showrooms throughout the city that make up the Fuorisalone.
If you are in Milan now and haven't already purchased your Salone del Mobile tickets, you can grab them here. Please note the days/hours that are dedicated to the trade vs. days/hours that are open to the public.
PLACES TO VISIT WHILE IN MILAN
If you haven’t been to Milan, visiting the Duomo di Milano is a must-do. If time allows, take the rooftop tour for excellent views across the city. Don’t forget to buy your tickets in advance.
Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper" is another not-to-be-missed event for art lovers. Grab your tickets beforehand here.
The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele is famous for a reason. The beautiful building includes loads of shopping and it’s the perfect place to enjoy un caffè or an aperitivo.
PLACES TO EAT
Langosteria was on of the best dining experiences Arianna had while in Milan.
She also recommends the Armani Hotel for drinks or dinner. And the interiors? Fantastico!
